I went to Go Ape with my husband and my dad. The safety talk was great and help/support was available if needed. I really enjoyed the first section and managed to get across the Tarzan swing and zip wire with a lot of coaxing as I was terrified! You don't realise how high up the course is from the ground!... Delamere is a lovely place to visit. Plenty of trails to walk around and well signposted. Go Ape is there if that is your thing! Parking is expensive but less of an irritant than the prices in the cafe - it is a total rip off. Take a picnic instead.

We mainly use Delamere for mountain biking, there are plenty of trails hidden in the trees if you know where to look for them. Less adventurous riders can stick to the fire roads where there are two way-marked trails (7 miles or 4 miles) to follow. You can easily spend a full day here wandering around and getting lost in... Picnic areas, Go Ape, Pony treking, natural scenery, good accommodation locally. Living on the edge of Delamere Forest we have seen the developments over the years. Music in the Forest an annual event not to be missed.

Lovely place to walk in all weathers. Trails around the lake/mere, through woodland and up hills. Variety of carparks, some paid.

I love this place for dog walking, so many directions to go in and plenty of other dog walkers to keep Molly dog happy. Even on cold rainy days its a great place to visit. There are toilets available and a tea room/shop within the forest.

Brilliant day out especially if the sun is shinning but even if it not its still good. Good for all the family young & old or disabled. Great walks, a lake, treat yourself to an ice cream. This is were great family days out are made.
