We had 36 holes on this course during a particularly wet and cold spell in March 2013. Staff were very helpful and sorted us out for our society event. Weather was awful but the course held up magnificently. In particular the greens were so fast and true even when looking very wet.

Had a round with a few friends, enjoyed the course which is an excellent condition. The whole day was great and I will be returning again

The amonunt of rubbish from overfilled bins on the course was a disgrace. Food in the club house was mediocre and expensive

Set in acres of green the hotel looks like a beautiful castle. The inside lounges are filled with beautiful tapestries and heavy furniture with plenty of seating areas. The food areas, although good, were rather expensive and the bedrooms, set in an attached annexe were not as I expected from a Marriott Hotel. However the bedrooms were quiet and warm... More

Could make so much more of some lovely old buildings and lovely aspect but needs money spending to take it out of Dunlop Masters 1976 time-warp

Lovely and challenging golf course. It turns the "a good walk spoiled" adage on it's head with the beautiful it has created walk adding to the game of golf. I've stayed and eaten in the hotel in the past and though not cheap this was pretty good too.

Great golf courses. Beautiful setting, lovely hotel and restaurant. Unfortunately food does not come up to 4 star standard, neither does service.

Ideal for a works Christmas Party, a weekend break for the family or a wedding venue. Set in beautiful grounds offering great golf packages the ambience is very inviting. The interior is grand, luxurious and well cared for. With 10 minutes from the centre of Chepstow this is a very easy place to get to either for an evening meal... More

Played here over 2 days on the Old Course and it was an amazing experience. Beautiful course and grounds and certainly has a challenge to it that would appeal to most golfers. If you have the money or a corporate invitation - its well worth the drive.
