I found this spot just off the motorway on my way into Llandudno on a recent trip, I stopped for coffee and was pleasantly suprised with the amazing views across the estuary. I am not a bird watcher - there were plenty about but I do recommend a visit here - its beautiful !

My wife & I love RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve. There's ample car parking facilities although the track down to RSPB is in very poor upkeep. You have to go through a well stocked RSPB shop to get to the café but it's a real gem of a place. The hot drinks, home made cakes & biscuits are delicious, and as... More

Well signed and easy access off the A55 at Llandudno Junction. Convenient for anyone travelling the North Wales Coast or the Conwy Valley area. Well stocked shop for anyone wanting binoculars or monoscopes etc. The second building is the impressive café and toilet block. There is a reasonable selection of excellent food and drink plus second-hand books and viewing across... More

Really recommend visiting this place, both to tourists and locals! Great for families, plenty of room for the children to explore wildlife and they've recently revamped it so they have a children's play area outside. There's a cafe, a lovely little shop to buy wildlife related and local inspired gifts. The staff are really friendly especially to the children. They... More

Nestled between the busy A55 and the beautiful River Conwy, this modest Nature Reserve is a gem of a place...a choice of easy walks on the flat will help you explore and visit several well appointed hides. The Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable,it's almost like visiting family! There is a bright and modern cafe/toilet block with lovely views across the... More

We regularly visit the bird reserve as we live just outside Conwy. Our grandson stays with us during school holidays and we quite often take him there. There is stacks of parking and the shop sells lots of toys and outdoor clothing and nicnacs. It is very quiet and peaceful there and you can stay as long as you like.... More

Immediately off the A55 at the Llandudno Junction roundabout (take care because the entrance is immediately left ON the roundabout immediately as you leave the A55). Stacks of parking awaits you and also a small shop selling all kinds of things associated with the great outdoors. Once in take the pathway to the left side and just follow the signs.There... More

We were members, but you can use the lovely little cafe even if your not, and the food is great, The walk around the sanctuary takes about an hour and is lovely on a nice day.
