It´s a great museum! I really loved to see all the great things but I expected a little bit more. But It´s a great place to visit for all ages.

Great collection, impressive building and atmosphere, nice interactive panels. Plan at least 3-4 hours for good walk-through.

This is a large museum, you'll need to be selective. This museum really shows you are in a former empire capital. First impression I got was how grand and beautiful the building itself is. It's a real palace, and a well kept one. When we first approached the museum the first thing we saw was the line. It was very dissapointing experience. Many of the items were replication and not the real thing. In addition many of items weren't explained in english, such you couldn't understand what you were looking at

Vienna's Naturhistorisches Museum puts most others I've seen firmly in the shade.
