The winery is quite small and the tour is short (but free). The views into the vineyard are pretty, as is the drive up the hills intto Kathikas. The host is very gracious, and we were offered about 5 or 6 different wines to try. They have an excellent range on offer including a grappa-like and port-like wine. There is... More

Clearly this winery is run by a family who have a passion for their produce. The free wine tasting and the museum and wine store were really interesting. Really enjoyed our visit

When you're heading to Polis from paphos, you'll find signs of the Sterna Winery. Take a break for to taste and buy the local produce, especially if you love wine. You won't regret.

A talk then a sample or four. HIC. then they want you to buy it, we found it doesn't travel or the stuff we bought was not the stuff we quaffed. So beware. The talk is enlightening

A small but welcoming attraction. The host is very gregarious . The museum is a very odd mix of paper mache people and pictures, but the charge of few euros its a must. Recommend it.

the winery in Kathikas village with the museum is second to none! the wine tasting and the people there excellent (especially mr Savvas). As for the wines excellent. you have to give them a try, especially the kelaidonis series (white and rose)

Visited here as part of a 4x4 excursion. Got to try out the local wines (most of them were delicious). Not a very big place but worth a visit. Prices for the wines were very reasonable, I thought they were actually quite cheap. Free to enter too and I think it's free to do some of the wine tasting. Owner... More

I had already been to some real good wineries with several cellars and huge barrels and stuff in Hungary and in Southern Italy, Matera, so I didn't find it interesting at all. I didn't want to offend the owner so I did taste their wines but I myself am not a fan of wine in general anyway. The Sterna Winery... More
