Got shouted at by a Dom De Louise lookalike for getting a camera out whilst drinking their third rate beer. Not a welcoming place!
...if you're into hanging with the locals, actually having a conversation and not needing to show off your latest flashy pretentious outfits. this is one chill place. i'm from portland, oregon. we practically invented hipster-ism, so when you say "it's a hipster place", i agree, and see it as a compliment :)

This was our favourite bar in town, both during the day and night. Drinks are not too expensive and the staff are friendly. Great atmosphere
If you turn up to this bar drunk, it will soon sober you up. The music is dull, the people are dull and it's really not the place to go if you're looking for a fun night out. I have to also agree with a previous review that you get the feeling "tourists are not welcome"! Either that, or the...

You'll probably get beer spilled on you. The dance floor is as tiny as the bar itself, tiny and located in front of the bar and...

A couple reviews have described this place as dirty, crowded and overrated. I couldn't agree more. This is definitely a place that people say they like in order to sound cool. Really, it is not cool. If you are remotely sober when you walk in, you see this place for what it is - an overrated sleazy joint with music...

An institution in the night life of Reykjavik :-) Very nice atmosphere and cozy decor. Nothing to eat, unfortunately.
