Iceland is very different to most places you can go to. The Golden Circle takes in volcanic landscapes, magnificant waterfalls, snow capped mountains and amazing geysers. A wonderful trip.

This trip is an all weather "do". Changing and dramatic scenery that is almost prehistoric in places.

We had high expectations for the go,den circle route since its the primary attraction in southeast Iceland. There are indeed some beautiful views, and it's pretty cool to see where the American and European Teutonic plates are splitting apart. We booked through Iceland Horizons and loved this tour. Our guide, Brian, took us through the circuit, explaining in great detail all sorts of things we'd never have known otherwise. I especially enjoyed Thingvellir and Gullfoss.
