Try to take a tour if the library if you get the opportunity. The old and new building both have their chams. The childrens department is well worth a visit as is the music department.

if you have a lap-top then WI_FI access is great. Cafe good for snacks and coffee, but there are better options in the town. If you want to find a good book then this is the place to go....!!! Or you can try Akateeminen Kirjakauppa bookshop in the Hansa shopping centre.

As the appearance suggests this is one top-notch library. If you're in need of free internet, a book/magazine to read or just to chill and literaly swing around (they have awesome swinging ball chairs), this is the place in Turku to be.
The best place in the city, confirmed not only by me but by all people that saw it. Very interesting design, interior, amazing place for studying, reading, or finishing projects and tasks. Has internet connection, lounge-bar. Perfect for hiding of unexpected rains. Has children area with playground.
