Great place to learn about the history of the rural Finland without leaving the city. You can see a lot of wooden buildings and craftsmen who presents their historic profession. On midsummer eve there are a lot of dancing groups, playground for children and traditional ceremonies. This is the perfect place to get a glimpse of finish culture, try it!

A tranquil place where squirrels and ducks run and fly around. Walk around the island and look at the nature and the historical buildings. The quietness is very romantic and nice - and only a couple of kilometers away from the city. Best to visit during summer or on a no-wind sunny winter day.

An open air museum is part of the Seurasaari island but the island, connected to mainland with lovely bridge, good for walks, swimming and just to enjoy a break of the city.
