The area is beautiful and it's only a short ferry trip from mainland. There is not much cover from wind if it's a windy day. Cooking areas may be crowded, but still very good place for a picnic

Nice recreational island just outside Helsinki. Two beaches, one suitable for families and one clothing optional. Highly recommended, perfect place to enjoy summer. There is a cafe' and you can even spend the night on the island if you bring a tent.
