Take some time to spend out in the beautiful vistas. Pick a sunny day, and take a great book with you to read and enjoy the ambience and vistas. There are delicious ice-creams called "GB Glassbåt" to enjoy when there.
There are temporary exhibitions in the "main building" which may not be interesting all the time. However, the garden with Milles' sculptures is amazing, and his old villa (in the garden, on the top of the hill) is also nice and interesting.
It seems to be a Scandinavian 'thing' to put sculptors' life works all together on one large site, and it really does work, especially when its where they lived. The Milles museum is just wonderful. He captures the human form beautifully including younger subjects and his range is huge. Some of the sculptures look out over the water, some are...

I don't think I like art exhibitions so this was boring to me. (I went to the exhibition "Painters in Normandie", with Monet, Renoir etc.) However if you are interested in art, then go to an exhibition here. The café didn't have such a large variety of things to eat, so we opted out. Not that interesting a place in...

Not the easiest place to get to, but well worth the trip. Wonderful array of sculpture and terraces in a distinctly Italian style. House was interesting to visit as well.
Milles Garden is a MUST! The location is fantastic, direct by the water and the art is amazing. At the moment there is a show of French Impressionists, but even without that special show the grounds, the gardens and the houses are well-worth a visit.
I am going to rate this overall as just ok, because it is kind of a trek to get here and I didn't think it was worth it. You have to take the metro, to a bus, then walk a bit. I didn't know anything about the artist before hand, but wanted to see the outdoor sculptures. They were really...

My husband and I went here with our 3 month old son during Easter break. It was a bit pricey for the size and amount of things to look at maybe 80kr for students like myself, 100 kr for adults. We saw an exhibition with painting from Normandie, Monet, Boudin, etc. Nice collection. Great gift shop. Elevator for the baby...

Millesgarden is situated on Lidingoe island, one of the nicest areas of Stockholm. The collection of sculptures and its placement overlooking the sea and a big part of Stockholm make this one the places to go if you want to relax for few hours.
There is a small indoor exhibition of art as well, but it doesn't offer very much...
