Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats. « less

I took the tour just last weekend after extensive biking all over Copenhagen, and it was a great relaxation and a nice way to discover the city from a different perspective and experience the marine side of the city (despite the name, the highlight of the tour is not going the narrow canals but accross the wide strait running across... If you want to have a different view of the city the canal tour is a right option. In my case the tour guide was not that good in the explanaitions but i would say that in general was ok. Despite of the fact that the girl driving the bote had many problems (was kinda funny).

We spent 2 days in Copenhagen and walked all over the city (23 miles). After all that walking we decided to take a canal tour not only to give our feet a rest but to see the city from a different vantage point. We highly recommend because the guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out sights that we did not... More

The Netto Canal tours was 42dkk whereas the Canal tour company at the head of the canal was 75dkk. 60 mins tour- okay to get a flavour of Copenhagen if you don't have time.I would vote for a walking tour any day.

We very much enjoyed this tour. If you buy a Copenhagen card at the tourist center, the price of this our is covered. The tour guid was fluent in three languages so most everyone on the boat got to hear about the points of interest. The boat was relatively comfortable for the hour tour. This is worth the price.

It's a very good of seeing the city, and it's not expensive at all for the service it offers. You can tour around the city for 24 hours on the ship (althought you have to keep in mind that in the wintertime, the last boat is at 5pm). You can hop on and off in four different stops, so just... More

As the weather was excellent, very hot actual for Scandinavian countries, we thought that a cruise would be a pleasant way to see Copenhagen's buildings. And i was right ! The cruice was about an hour and i enjoyed every minute. I recommend it, if you have the time.

It was very sunny when we went on the boat, which was really nice because I can imagine that it can get really cold on the water. You will see all the important parts of Copenhagen and have the possibility to take some really good pictures. You can also figure out which places you might like to visit later on.... More

We did the tour as one of the first things in Copenhagen. There are a few different tour companies that you can choose from. We took the cheaper one (40kr compared to 70 for most others) and it was good. We probably saw all the major sights and got a great overview of the city. Really cool experience and also... More
