In the heat of the afternoon, we drove up to the ski area and had a car picnic. Stopped several times to admire the trees, wildflowers and the clouds coming over the crest of the mountains. Some great views.
It is amazing to visit Arachova city, during the visit to delphi. It is just 15 min by car from Delphi. We stayed in delphi. beautiful city, nice people. It's really amazing experience. In Arachova, hostels are very expensive, so its better to stay in delphi, if you r running in budget.
Brilliant walk in good weather from Delphi to Cave and back through Parnassus National park. Alternatively take taxi to back of Parnassus area, and go across plain to Cafe Pan ? -only open in summer.
