The tour was very interesting with amazing views of the city. Worth a visit. Lovely food to match the great Bruges beer.
Tour was interesting and came with a free drink. Not good if you're afraid of heights or steep steps but you get a good view of the city from the roof and the guide seemed to know his stuff! Somehow managed to lose a few hours in the bar afterwards though...
A very welcoming place when visiting Brugge. The dining area is very comfortable with large tables and a superb fire too warm you on a cold winters day. The food is good and the staff attentive. If you combine your meal with a glass of Zot, or as in my case, a Straffe Hendrik Tripple then it's perfect. The brewery... More
We visited De Halve Maan Brewery in December 2013 and it was excellent! The tour guide we had was probably the best tour guide I've've ever had. She was knowledgeable and brilliantly witty and was a highlight of my trip to Bruges. The tour is amazing value at 7 Euros and this includes a beer at the end of the... More
As part of our guided tour of Bruges we were offered the opportunity to visit and learn how beer is made in this local Brewery. The cost of entry is 7 euros which includes a free glass of Zot Blond beer to try in the bar/restaurant. The tour itself lasts about 45 minutes and you are taken all around where... More
Incredibly cheap guided tour through an authentic family-run brewery. The guide was entertaining and informative. And to top off the experience we received a free 'Brugse Zot'. Beware: the tour does include a lot of stairclimbing.
Working for a brewery and knowing there was a working brewery in Bruges meant a tour was always on the cards. Not hard to find but you wouldn't think it was a brewery from the outside. After booking the English tour we were soon on our way round the brewery which of course was very familiar, the grains get eaten... More
This is a wonderful local brewery, and a great tour, with a free glass of beer at the end! We timed out trip to coincide with lunch at the brewery tavern, which was excellent! It was a delicious warm meal on a cold day. I highly recommend the beer, cheese, and ham soup! After lunch we took the 45 minute... More
We live just around the corner (for about 6 years now) and took the tour last summer. Since so many tourists had asked us the way to 'the half moon brewery', we decided to check it out ourselves. Turns out that it's really worthwhile visiting! The reception and guide were very friendly and professional and the included beer after the... More
We didn't do the tour, but there bar area is a very lovely place to sit, staff were friendly. Every beer in the book. The gift shop was great and very reasonably priced for small or big bottles. Definitely worth the visit if passing.
