I like the more simple but stylish look of this church. I didn't find it overdone with stained glass windows and trying to show oppulence. This chuch has more clean lines and the light from the white sides made a more airy feel than the gloomy dark stone churches I have visited. As I read other reviewers I see others... More

The black and white marble and the white columns made this church both elegant and serene. I couldn't believe that for long stretches of time I was the only person there except for someone in charge of the sound system which played classical music, not sacred. It's on the list for "Silent Bruges," the walking tour in the Bruges City... More

We came across this church by accident on our way back to the house we were staying in. It is off the main tourist track and so we were the only people inside. It was magnificent and it's white interior was very different to other local churches. Well worth a visit especially if you want a moment's quiet reflection.

St. Walburga's has a simple white interior that's a refreshing change from the visual assault of the other baroque churches in the city. It's also easier to have a zen/quiet moment in this less visited church.

We had a quick look inside. It is a fairly large church but not as grand as some Jesuit churches we have visited elsewhere. If you are passing, then take a quick look inside.

I was very lucky to see the exhibition 'Images of Mary' which is in the church until 30th September. Eight dressed Madonna and child statues on loan from Bruges church councils. The tradition of dressing Madonna statues in fine ceremonial robes dates back to the period of Spanish rule from the 17th century and the statues are often carried in... More

Outside it looks like a church but inside the white ceiling soares above you, beautiful statuary, tapestries. There was an exhibition about the history of the Madonna and child used in religious festival. Take your camera

The minute I walked into this church, it was as if my spirit "soared"! I know that sounds weird, but this church was unlike all the others in Bruges. It felt kind of spiritually alive! It was light and bright and beautiful. My favourite.

This is probably one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been in. The bright and airy atmosphere creates a magnificent scenartio in which to savour the presence of God. Background religious music helped to enhance the beauty of this magnificent Jesuit church
