The gardens at the Mont des Arts are very beautiful and colorful. There are parterres and inside the parterres are many flowers and plants with color. This is an excellent place to take photos and the vistas are very good. The equestrian statue of Albert I is very good too.

Rarely nice. Only when it's sunny and you don't mind the derelict surroundings. It features a garden below that is more attractive then the heavy traffic area on top.

What a stunning view! A "Mont" only in the sense that you can see a chunk of the city from the top of the hill (Belgium has no mountains; in fact, it's sometimes called "The Flat Country" by natives). Great city vista, and the mont itself is really "of the arts"--libraries, museums...

If you want to see the best museums in Brussels, go here first. Most of Brussels best museums are located within the complex so it's very convenient especially when you have kids with you. Aside from the fact that it's really beautiful, Mont des Arts is 1/4 of the stages where the Brussels Summer Festival will take place.

A little walking tour of this area is lovely, not far from Grand Place. Beautiful views. Bring a picnic and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. We were lucky enough to be in Brussels for National Day and so seen the wonderful airshow from this area.

It is just next door to my job and I go there almost every day. The view is very nice and it is a quite litlle garden in the middle of Brussels.

Nice ensemble of buildings from all different periods and styles (medieval, renaissance, neo-classic, "totalitarian", art nouveau, art deco), with a good view over the lower city and the tower of the town hall. Where most of the city's large museums are located.

Definitely take a stroll up the Mont des Arts and appreciate the buildings/architecture and the view at the top of the street. Occasionally hosting events all around - keep an eye open for fun activities :)

The best way to watch Le Mont des Arts is to walk downhill coming from the Magritte Museum. Have a look at the large clock with moving statues.
