Always fascinating exhibitions housed in an amazing building, a visit does depend on what you want to see. The current variety of shows on (July 2012) make a very worthwhile visit (Jeremy Deller amongst others), and you could easily spend three hours there if you took your time. Go there for art exhibitions or for a coffee. It's a great place where you meet interesting people.

The wiels exposition spaces offers great backdrop to modern exposition and this David Claerbout expo was a perfect match. Nice concessions on the standard price. And very important in Brussels: there is a lot of parking space just next to the Wiels building!!

Do be compared with the New Museum in NYC! Contemporary art. A great place for Sunday brunch (but don't tell everyone).

When it comes to contemporary art, this is the place to be in Brussels. It's a bit out of the way from all the touristy sites, but it's well worth the trip.
