It was really, really interesting much to my surprise. I am not deeply into art but this was very interesting, well presented and well worth the time spent visiting.

This year 2013 the historic museum, with a fine collection of Frans Hals paintings, is celebrating its 100th year. Please do not miss the opportunity to see Frans Hals paintings completed with paintings from other famous painters of his time.

You have to see the latest exhibition, Old masters of the Dutch Golden Age. What a fine pieces of art of this great painters.

We have visited this museum a number of times 2012and2013 being most recent. Both years the special exhibitions were wonderful. The Hals anniversary exhibit is a real gem. It is a combination of a number of artists with a close comparison between them. The facility was a bit crowded but the free audio tour allows one to move to any piece that may not be that busy. The rest of the museum is pretty good!
