I was surprised about the bad review of the Zeedijk in Amsterdam. Maybe it was a disapointment because there weren't so many 'cultural activities'. I crossed the Zeedijk twice (at least) and having read about the events and cultural athmosphere there I might have expected too much. For me it was just a chaotic, dirty and smelly China Town with many gay bars. A lot of noise and no artistic vibes what so ever. More
