Heading into Amsterdam you willfind this building very hard to miss. I looks so wonderfully old and from a different era ....and I am a sucker for train stations like these. Lots of work going on at the station of late .... they made the new front entrance ....which I think is SUPER UGLY coz it does not fit in... More

It's the central trainstation, so inside not very interesting. It's been under renovation for as long as I can remember, but now that parts are slowly being unveiled, it is a beautiful building from the outside. But that's it. More

to go somewhere and not have a car. unorganised, difficult, big, and to many people living in the spaces not used by trains(all of them). architecture to admire but that is all. More

easy to navigate, open late, lots of trains to other parts of the netherlands and europe. Easy to use ticket machine although for some you need a dutch bank card. Lots of places to buy gifts, snacks etc. More

The central station was easy to use to and from Schipol airport. Easy to obtain tickets except the ticket machines dont accept cash! The double decker trains were great and always on time. More
