Big park for city dwellers to have a walk or a picnic. Saw a lot of people jogging and relaxing on the lawns. We enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful kept flowerbeds with tulips and other flowers.

This place in Amsterdam is simply amazing, in particular on Sundays/holidays when Amsterdamers flock in to enjoy their week-end in the park.

The Vondelpark is the hot spot for all joggers and bikers in Amsterdam which is understandable. It is really a big green spot in the centre that offers a 3.3 km circular path that is well prepared for bikes and runners/pedestrians. Lots of water arrangements and nature elements.

Great way to spend a Sunday morning in the Dam.Beware of the bootcampers/runners/cyclists though. If all this exercise is too much,try the tea room.I recommend a healthy mint tea!

Lovely place for a relaxing walk -- easy paths within a large park -- seemed to be well used and seemed safe -- good for a family visit

Unfortunately the weather was not very appealing when we visited, so that there was no outdoor activity, just joggers and passers by. We went to the "Blue Tea House" in the Center of the Park.
