The Restaurant: No expertise, no kindness, no helpfull hand for a disabled guest. In fact it is more like a canteen staffed by people interested only in their pay roll. The Park is a beautiful collection of gems and a treasure for Arnhem! And all without any financing from outside! Chapeau, Alex and all your teams!

From our hometown The Hague we headed towards Arnhem, the other side of our small and flat country Holland. When we arrived in the nearby Burgers Zoo after 3 hours, we noticed that is was very Sunny but also crowded with many children. The zoo is divided into different habitats like the desert, jungle and ocean. It looks nice with... More

Some amazing enclosures, firstly the aquarium was amazing, so natural, felt as if you were underwater! Some good relevant information, at times the zoo was a bit difficult to navigate, some animals were missed. The safari was incredible, best enclosure I have seen at a zoo! Looks like enclosure were set for further improvements and expansion, which is great. Awesome... More

If you love animals, you will love Burges's zoo. One of the great features of Burgers zoo are the indoor biotopes. You can walk among the flaura and fauna and really get the feal of the relevant part of the world. During the last few years a lot of renovation has been done so that all is in good condition... We visited Burgers Zoo on April 2nd 2013. A very cold but sunny day. We found we couldn't pay with foreign credit or debit cards which was tricky. There was a cash machine there, but at the time this was out of order so do take enough cash if you are planning a visit. There are a huge variety of... More

Have been three times and it gets better all the time. Worth a deliberate detour to visit. A full day can be easily spent. We arrived at10 and left at closing. I would recommend it highly as a weekend/ half term break from the uk. Combine with the open air museum and the national park. All first rate attractions.

I just love this Zoo. It's so much nicer then the Bronx Zoo which I'm used to (and love as well). They put the animals needs first. They are much more concerned with making the animals more comfortable then the guests which I think is amazing. I have a lot of respect for the people running the zoo for that.... More

I visited the zoo on the 03.03.13, due to good recommendations and I was very disappointed. Yes, this zoo got rain forest dome, but nothing interesting to see inside, empty pools (and this reflect most of cages in the zoo!!!)Yes also it got Aquarium of all kind of fishes, nothing unusual and the main attraction: sharks let me disappoint you... This is an amazing zoo, one of the best in Europe. With an tropical rainforrest, a dessert, a big aquariom, a safari walk, a mangrove forrest and much more. After the zoo, visit the beautifull parks of Arnhem.

Love the Bush, Desert and Safari. The recent addition, the Rimba, offers lovely views of the bears and tigers. The other, older, enclosures could do with an update. Still, it is a lovely day out, they have several places to eat, a large indoor children's playground and an outdoors playground as well. The parking spaces have very recently been renovated,... More
