The self service restaurant is great, make sure you get there in plenty of time for a table. The food is good even though it is self service. Good quality fare.

It is difficult to hate somewhere with such amazing views... but by the end of the holidays I came close to it. The self-service restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Yes it may be quick, but the food lacks imagination and any flavour. Chicken nuggets and fries, greasy potato rostis, salads swamped in mayo... you get the idea.
This is really a charming area for beginner of all ages! We saw a few three years old to a few people in their sixties here starting their lessons. My daughters started here and within two days, were already going on larger, steeper slopes. Beautiful views of Matterhorne!
Beautiful place to ski with undoubtedly the best views of the whole Zermatt valley...you can see from one side of the valley clear across to the other...all the way to Italy...
because of the tree runs lower down. And it is where ski schools take their kids and adults. One red run is a real fast and steep sectioned cruiser as is the black.
Skiied here 3 days out of 5. Enjoyed it the most, could stop and have lunch on the outdoor deck in the sunshine while taking in the exceptional and stunning view of the Matterhorn. Lots of accessible runs from here. Easy to get to.
very nice skiing are with room for everybody. all skill level will find long tracks and everybody can enjoy the great scenery
...title kinda says it all. The Sunnegga goes up the east side of the Zermatt mountain. It's fast, efficient, crowded and (if you're unlucky) a little smelly. The way down is better than the way up.
Sunnegga literally means "Sun Edge." So, even when all other ski areas are cloudy, Sunnegga may still be getting sun.
Wollipark is located here, which is the best, most well maintained beginners area while skiing in Zermatt. They have 4 hills -- two gentle slopes and two steeper hills -- to practice on. Magic carpets help to transport you back...

This place presented some of the most awesome on piste skiing ever. The views were incredible. Weather seemed to set in quicker here that on the Glacier Paradise though. The funicular was quick and efficient. Great places to stop on the slopes for food, drinks, and incredible views.
