Even if you are not orthodox...it's a great spiritual refuge...I go here once in a while. Plus the location is beautiful
Exterior is beautiful, with gleaming gold tops. Scale is not very large. We did not go inside, it was locked.
We come across it when going to the Old City street. It's in a quiet area. Nothing very special but we haven't seen inside.
Quite unexpected in the outskirts of the Geneva old town. Very nice indeed the place is worth a visit.
Stop by during daytime hours to walk around the (rather dark) interior. Visit at dusk for some great photos of the exterior.
It is a beutiful church, by the time we arrived there was a celebration going on, so we could see much of the inside, but it was very intiresting to be able to witness that too... How families were gathered, children playing... Nice atmosphe. It is surrounded by a neatly decorated small garden. Worth the walk!!!
It is very interesting to find a genuine Russian Orthodox church in the middle of Geneva. It is quite typical in terms of design and décor. Keep in mind it is a working church, so certain rules are to be observed including dress code and such. They seem to be a little bit too suggestive about “donations,” other than that...

Lovely, atmospheric and much more a place of prayer than the Cathedral. The smell of incense, the chanting, the icons, don't miss it.
Conveniently located five minutes walk only from the busy and noisy Old town, it offers a moment of total rest, and its garden full of folwers and birds was just as welcoming!
