I pretty much went to the fountain every day when I lived in Perugia...very friendly place in the center of everything. Many people just hanging out.

There are always lots of people admiring this fountain and as soon as you get up close you can see why in the reliefs that encircle it. As with many fountains in Italy, this one too is impressive. It's in the middle of the piazza so as you approach it you can't miss it.

I loved. Its was one of the best things I saw in the city. You can take nice pictures with a very good light.

It may not actually be unique, but I've certainly never seen another like it. The scale alone is amazing, but it fits perfectly with its surrounds.

A very attractive fountain just outside the Duomo. It is encircled by carvings done by a father and son and it is fascinating to guess who did which!
