A wonderful 360 degree panorama of amazing buildings including the Civic Museum building and the Torre del Mangia. Just sit at one of the restaurants that line Il Campo and watch life happen in Siena.

We also followed the recommendation of getting a beer at the bar that has a balcony overlooking the whole Piazza. I don't remember the name, but it's right in the middle!

The ability to access the Piazza del Campo from many alleys, steps and views just increases the magical nature of this great arena. Not to be missed.

This is a wonderful LARGE piazza with quaint restaurants ringing it. Great place to sit and watch the residents and tourists.

This piazza is the central hub of Siena. There are so many great bars and restaurants all around the square. And Gelato bars too! A great location to sit and people watch and enjoy Siena.

Arguably one of the finest piazzas in all of Italy. What a great place to sit down and have a cafe! Reportedly, though, you can do better dining at restaurants that are not directly on the piazza.

It is a must see, the churches are spectacular, as is the wall. We were there on an especially busy day, but I wouldn't have missed it!
