We started off our day in Lucca with a pleasant bike ride around the walled town. We rented two bikes for one hour at a reasonable cost of 6€.

The path on the wall is a beautiful walk. It's not too far from florence. For those who have the time, it's a nice place to visit.

Hire a bicycle near the wall for less than 2 euro for an hour or stroll along. The raised wall gives a great perspective of the town.

We travelled the ramparts and tunnels of the walls around Lucca. The walk was most interesting and the tunnels throught the walls were like secrete passages adding to the mystery of the old city.
