One of the very few places in Florence with a happy hour. Beers and Long Drinks (mixed drinks) are about $2 off. Popular place for soccer games on tv. Great bartenders to talk to.
Every trip to Florence includes a night or two at The Joshua Tree Pub. Friendly staff, good STRONG drinks, and always a great vibe.
My friend and I were in Florence for 3 nights. We walked into this joint as recommended by Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It felt just like a pub in Chicago and the music was great. Paolo and Simone are very hospitable, plus Simone makes a great mojito.
The Joshua Tree is definitely one of those pubs where you can feel completely at home. Being fortunate enough to be bilingual, I have introduced this Florentine gem to friends both from the States and the UK, as well as spending many unforgettable evenings here with my local Florentine group of friends. The verdict is unanimous: top-notch atmosphere & staff... More
Stopped here after a days touring.. Good fun, friendly staff, great mojito.. Pubs are very few in Florence, this is a good place for a few drinks, a chat
This place was so bad it needs a new acronym- WIWO- walk in walk out. It was uni biting for the outside- the inside was small, dirty, smelt of blocked drains/ stale urine- needless to say we didn't stay. I cannot understand how this place has any positive reviews at all- truly disgusting- the kind of place where you wipe... More
My life partner and I decided to take a trip to this establishment after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. The two bartenders, Simon and Paulo were very nice and made some quality mojitos. We immediately felt welcomed and ended up chatting up a few locals and an American expat. The locals said this is definitely a bar... More
We found this pub through Trip Advisor and it wasn't the great reviews that made us come but the negative ones. Reading the negative ones can gives you a good idea of the type of people that will actually be in a place and the ones who just wouldn't get it. The negative reviews looked to come from people I... We were expecting the 'rocker' crowd outside after other reviews which was fine by us as we like rock music but have to say this was just a rough pub. No character. Some draught beers which were ok but virtually empty inside and big crowd outside of very drunk, tattooed, leather clad Italians with large dogs that looked like they... More
I had been travelling by myself for a week in Italy and I was in the need for a pub with some good beers and good people. I found that here at The Joshua Tree Pub. I had been dining alone and missing going to a bar to hang out like in the US for some coversation. This was a... More
