My husband and I were in Florence for only 2 nights, so we booked a private tour to get the most out of the experience. It was the right decision! When I contacted Freya ahead of our trip, her response was immediate, and even though she had suggestions, she really wanted to know what we wanted -- it was clear... More

Our group of three spent an afternoon walking around Florence with our guide Nicholas. We were only spending a short time in Florence and having Nicholas as our guide really helped us to see all of the highlights of the city. He was so knowledgeable and everything he told us was interesting. he even recommended some restaurants for us and... More

Our group did the 3 hour walking tour. Our guide was Sashia who was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about Florence. Our group was a mixed bag so it was difficult to keep us on track. During the walk, Sashia not only pointed out information about the statutes, building, and other history related items, but provided comments about shopping and restaurants.... More

We took 2 tours, the second 2 days after the first. Our guides Sara and Sashia were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Freya answered all of my pre-visit queries promptly. I was initially nervous about the cost but comparing the 40 person tour groups with our 4 person group showed me the advantage. Yes it was worth it.

We did personal tours in every city we visited in Europe and Sara was the best guide we had. Being a Florentine herself ,her passion for showing us her city was infectious and made our visit to Florence one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our 3 girls aged between 8 and 14 where kept engaged for the entire... More

Excellent tour of Florence. Freya was insightful and excellent with the kids (two boys – 13 & 10). She showed us things that not only made us appreciate the rest of our visit to Florence, but made our trip to Venice and Rome more enjoyable. Art history insight was excellent. Truly an memorable morning. I would highly recommend you take... More

The primary reason we chose Freya was her knowledge of art and architecture in touring this beautiful open air museum of both art and history of western civilization. We were not disappointed. In addition to seeing David, it's fascinating to hear the "back story" of it's creation and change of venue from outside Uffizi to inside Accademia. We enjoyed learning... More

Last June we visited Florence and had Nicholas for a tour of various points in the city focusing on Michelangelo. Our 2 boys, 8 and 10 at the time, absolutely loved him and the way he presented the information. He made it come alive! I have subjected my kids to many, many tours in many places. Typically they are less... More

We did a 3-hour walking tour with Freya's Florence. The tour was for myself and my two children (8 and 10). I was apprehensive at booking this without a personal recommendation as I have very high standards when it comes to service, but I needn't have worried. First, Freya was excellent with all pre-arrival emails - quick, courteous and helpful.... More

went on Freya's 4 hour "skip the line" tour of Ufizzi and Galleria with my familly. Well as it turns out we spent an hour and fifteen minutes on lines. She charged 280 euro (approximateky $400) which. by the way did not inckude the price of admission, we lost a significant portion of the tour and then she ignored my... More

I received your wife’s email at 11.10pm on 27 March and I sent my reply to her at 11.33pm on 27 March, the same day. I didn’t at all ignore your wife’s email, indeed I am unaccustomed to receiving emails from unhappy clients and for this reason I responded within the minute that I received it. I have not received... More
