This is truly wonderful Piazza ( square ) the Duomo wonderful. We walked around this place for over an hour. Its crowded but nice place to visit while in Florence.

The Piazza is pretty enough but of course dominated by the mighty Duomo and just as impressive Campanile di Giotto. It's not really that conducive to a relaxing coffee or bite to eat.
Stunning architecture and one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've ever seen. I didn't have a chance to climb, but it was worth just for the visit and the view from the street.
