This is just a rip off. For a tot of whisky you pay 13.50 euro. A tin of Sprite (lemonade 6.9 euro) and a tea with lemon : 5.6 euro. When I told the headwaiter that with the same amount I paid for a tot of whisky I could buy a whole bottle. he just looked at me and he... More

Enjoyed a pleasant, if expensive coffee, but the views and ambience were the best and made it worth it.

What a fab bar on the town centre square. Great drinks and service - best Negroni in Taormina - great musicical entertainment. People-gazing. Views of Etna. Bliss....

We had a glass of wonderful Sicilian wine here a couple times. With the view, the people watching in the little piazza...what a way to go!

Yes it's one of the more expensive coffees I've had but the view is so amazing and the vibe so enjoyable that its worth it. While my partner had a cuppacino, I opted for a cafe freddo given how warm the morning was. And it was delicious. First time ever my partner has had coffee envy! Great morning coffee stop... More

Come on? lovely view but those prices!! Take a short walk down to the pitzzaria beside the Villa Paridisio on Rue Roma for an equally good view albeit at a lower level where same sandwich is 5 euro and a decent lunch pasta 7 euro, a 1L vino 11 euro!

Great location on the square, lots of fun when the band is there and to join in on the fun. Some items on the day menu are pricey. But we would often share a large sandwich and enjoy a coffee or granita there. Staff are efficient and helpful.

Excellent venue for great drinks, live music, and people watching. This is a fun place at one end of April Piazza. We loved it!

Although the setting is 'wunderbar' the huge prices for cocktails are akin to those in London .. and the service was the worst I encountered in Taormina : very sniffy and terse. This is a tourist-trap .. save your Euros and go to one of the smaller bars or restaurants. "Less Attitude" should be the bar's new mantra !

We saw this café mentioned in our guide book but weren't tempted to go near it! Far too commercial and busy, full of foreign tourists and nothing to do with Taormina or Sicily. Even the name reveals how unauthentic it is. There must be many better experiences with a true Italian flavour-
