A lovely spot to wander around the river. It was raining when we were there but still worth while heading down and sitting by the river.

The popularity of this venue ruins its appeal, it is hard to enjoy when surrounded by vast crowds. Other parts of Verona offer more with less hassle.

This bridge runs through castelvecchio and provides great views of the old city. Over the river there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the view and dream of who has crossed the river before you.

The bridge is a wonderful way of seeing the city -- both sides of the river. It is large and gives a feeling of strength. The day we were there, it was raining without many people around. Panoramic views from the bridge. The red walls with its "windows" where you can linger and enjoy the views of the Adige River and Verona. The stroll over the bridge was worth every minute.

even if it's raining, it's still a great bridge... We were there at the weekend, but the market was not in place - perhaps it doesn't happen in off season or when it's rainy. Still, a very pretty bridge with great photo oppotunities with the castel vecchio next to it.
