Our daughters bought this as a surprise for my wife's special birthday celebrations. My wife sings in a choir as a hobby but has never been an opera fan. She like me was blown away by the event, the setting and the whole atmosphere. As others have said, the venue is hard to find so a reconnoiter is necessary before... More

My gf and I are not opera fans but still we've decided to give it a try because of the great review in TA. We went to Rigoletto. It was great! So intimate, so beautiful and both of us actually got goose bumps in the last act. Don't miss it! P.S. buy the english translation (5 euro) there - it... More

My first opera and one that i will always remember!! Very intimate and special occasion. Situated well off the beaten track, and difficult to find, i would suggest you give yourself a practice run the day before to find it to avoid disappointment. You will also have to book in advance!! We got the last tickets. It is set inside... More

We aren't huge opera people but we felt like we couldn't go to Italy and not go to an opera, I chose this one based on the reviews on trip advisor and the setting sounded so interesting. It was everything and more! You're in an old palace with fresco's on the ceiling, you surround the performers in the room, it... More

This was a wonderful evening, the singers were superb, the setting so atmospheric, and the whole opera so intimate, you felt you were at the party, in the country......at the death bed.......fabulous!

What a find – thank you Trip Advisor! I was browsing things to do and being fan of classical music and occasional opera listener (averaging one a year!) this just sounded intriguing. I reserved online a few days before we flew out and confirmed over the phone on the Saturday morning of the ‘concert’. It’s easy to arrange. We saw... More

We saw Rigoletto last week and loved it. Some have said that the quality of these things isn't great. That's true of other concerts in the city but when it comes to Musica a Palazzo, don't believe a word of it. Great performances, and the unique venue made it very special. Just thinking about it is making the hairs stand... More

Rigeletto - A almost full opera performance in 3 parts in 2 hours in 3 different splendid rooms of an ancient palazzo expertly performed with gusto and passion - splendido - highly recommended even if you are not interested in opera.

You have to pre-book this online - but if you like opera do it - you won't be disappointed. Quality of the performance was excellent - 6 singers and 4 musicians. The palazzo is charming - the audience moves to sit in different rooms for the different scenes. about 2 hours long - we saw Rigoletto. If the Fenice is... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening seeing the Barber of Seville. It was such a novel experience viewing the performers up close and their interaction with the audience was amusing. The setting, some of which was by candlelight, in 3 different rooms of an old Venitian palace made the whole scene come alive, transporting you back to another era. The singing... More
