We arrived at his studio late in the afternoon but he was very pleased to welcome us. His glass artwork is stunning and we just could not make up our minds on what to ask him to make for us. Such a skillful man, we were impressed on how quick and precise his movements were when he was making a... More

Excellent artist who is working in a very difficult field with passion. Nice and genuine place to go, also with children. More

I had found the contact for Mauro through the Tripadvisor forum and thought a visit to his studio would be a good alternative to the murano island tours, where we would certainly be pressured into purchasing, and would probably take up half our day. Mauro was very friendly. He spoke reasonably good English and was clearly very passionate about his... More

If you want a Venetian made glass item Vianello Mauro's shop is a place to stop. He has a selection of handmade glass items, a lot of fish but has others as well. What made this place a find for me is that I saw some things I liked but not enough to buy. In speaking with Vianello further he... More

I and my friends spent two days in Venice last week and I introduced them to Mauro Vianello and his shop, where he works the glass in a very antique tradition creating every kind of animals and floral objects. His pieces are unique and Mauro is unique, too: you can ask him something specific and he'll do it immediately. He... More

I found Mauro from trip advisor and read alot of great reviews. So when I traveled to Venice October 22, stopping in Mauro's shop was on my list. Mauro is a very friendly gentleman. He greeted us immediately when we walked into his shop. We watched him make us a shark. Which was very cool. I would definitely recommend checking... More

My wife and I visited Mauro on our trip to Venice based on the advice we found here on trip advisor and it was a highlight of our trip. We stumbled our way through the streets of venice and found Mauro's shop, relatively close to the Rialto Mercato. I had contacted Mauro a few months before our trip and arranged... More

I can see why he is number one in Venezia. We had a great time. Did a little rabbit and a little cat for our kids. Only 35 Euros each. Highly recommend. Kevin from California More
