A building of impressive statue and design really takes your breath away the first time you see it. Ou could spend all day just walking around the outside.

As many other reviews have stated, reservations are required to see The Last Supper. Do a search for Cenacolo Vinciano, and you should find the official site to buy tickets. It is best to purchase tickets well in advance but keep in mind tickets may become available at the very last minute. Tickets are €8.
Admission is for a specific...

I didn't realize how fast tickets sell out for the last supper so we ended up having to take a 3rd party tour and paying 10x the amount of the tickets. However our tour included the DaVinci Codex Library at the Ambrosiana Library and an amazing tour guide who was able to give us insight into DaVinci and the history...

You must have tickets in advance. We used SelectItaly.Com. Very easy.
The convent is a long walk from the Duomo; not a bad walk from the Sforza Castle (Not to be missed.) Close access by subway (but watch out for pickpockets!)
The ticket is a timed ticket. You show up, check in, and go through a couple of hallwats, and...

It was hugh line in front of the church and when we asked when we could come since we stayed in the line, they said that it was line for those with tickets and there is no way to get in if you didn't buy them on line since it was only way of buy. Strange since anywhere we traveled...

You need to book in advance and make sure you're there for the appointed trip. We had a very ggod guide with lots of info on this iconic piece of artwork
In the http://www.leonardoamilano.org/cenacolo.htm web site you can find the calendar with the available days and hours (if i'm not wrong, 8 euros fee) To book the visit is the very first thing to do if you are planning to visit Milan. I don't remember very well, but there is a specific point of view from which the last supper appears...

Very impressive, though the quality of the painting isn't as good as you think it would be.
The entrance is exactly at the time your ticket says.
The church nearby (Santa Maria delle Grazie) is open in the morning and after 3pm so if you want to see it, better order tickets to the Last Supper around those times, because...

It beats the Mona Lisa hands down. It is one of the most impressive works of art I have ever seen. Even if it says there are no tickets available, just show up in person and you may get lucky like we did.
Book the guided tour in advance and be on time(viewing time: 15 mins). Heavily guarded entrance. Magnificent work by the Genius. The painting is still awesome after restoration. There is so much history to this place.
