One of the nicest squares I've ever visited. Interesting architecture and good for people-watching, and for sunset and night photography.

Take your time and look around ..., up, down , in the corners, all around. Statues, figures, monuments abound in this large, sea front square.

This large plaza dedicated to Italian Unity is wroth repeated vists as it changes. One day the builiding sparkled and the next were just stately. The blue light at nigh show where the sea shore was in olden times.

A large square surrounded by majestic buildings which are particularly spectacular at night. I would say simply one of the most beautiful squares in Europe if not in the world. Awesome!!!

We really enjoyed this Piazza. One of the largest I have seen and with a great view of the Bay of Trieste. Also, wickedly windy the whole February weekend we were there. Didn't dampen anyone's spirits though. Astounding architecture. Very lively. My dog chased the pigeons. Lots of people with dogs. Lots of families. People here 24 hours a day.... More
