This tour was just phenomenal. i had heard so many wonderful things about it and it did not disappoint. Everything from start to finish kept me listening intently and captivated. I went with a few mates and all agreed, it was just amazing. I would not recommend for younger children. 3 hours is a long time to be on your... More

Upon the recommendation of my sister, who was in Rome with her family in July 2011, we booked two tours for our short (2.5 day) stay in rome. The first day was the Jewish Ghetto Tour with Sara as our tour guide, and the second day was the ancient Rome tour with Elena. Both guides were very knowledgeable. As we... More

I can't recall how we first heard about Jewish Roma Private Walking Tours but, through email correspondence, our family (my wife and I and two teenagers) ended up using Micaela, the founder of Jewish Roma, to arrange a total of seven tours throughout Italy. Four of the tours were with Jewish Roma tour guides (the other three were fantastic referrals... More

My family and I really enjoyed the tours we took in Rome with Jewish Roma. The guides were very good and gave us a very detail account of facts, past and present. More

We very much enjoyed our tour to the Vatican, Colosseo, Arco di Tito and ancient Rome. Silvia was a very engaging and attentive tourist guide. She answered any questions and offered to take our photos at various sites. On the first day that we met Silvia, we were informed that there was a strike at the Colosseo and that our... More

The tour with Jewish Roma run by Micaela (we had Sara as a tour guide) was one of the highlights of the trip! She gave us so much more information that we would not have gotten from a book and let us know more about the history of such a great place that is generally overlooked. Very highly recommended!!! Being a solo in Rome for three days before my trans Atlantic cruise, this was definitely a highlight for me among many the adventures I had in this fabulous city. I asked Micaela that once inside the Rome Synagogue, I would like to light a Yourzit candle for my Mother as it was just then the date of the first... More

Did Jewish Catacombs tour w/ Silvia. (Sara was there, too.) Took 45 minutes via taxi (50 euros) to get to site. Tour took about 50 minutes. Just Silvia, spouse, caretaker and me. Glad we saw it. It, perhaps, is not as popular a tour as many others, but is a cultural must see. Sara drove us to Jewish Ghetto tour.... More

We went on two Jewish Roma Private Walking Tours...the first was not Jewish necessarily as it was a taste of Rome, beginning at the Trinity Church on top of the Spanish Steps and ending more than three hours later near Piazza Navona. lara was out tour guide and we can't say enough about here. Warm, engaging, smart, historic, knowledgeable beyond... More

Definately worth the money and time. My husband and I and some friends were only in Rome for a few days and I would definately recommend this to anyone. Sara was our guide and we thoroughly enjoyed her knowledge and patience. We learned so much we had no idea about. This is definately a tour to take whether you are... More
