My mom and I had a tour of the vatican museums with Jimmy. All booked via the internet. Jimmy was just where he said and gave us a wonderful tour. We were so pleased that we had booked this as we were treated to some wonderful information and didn't feel at all rushed. I would definitely recommend this company and... More

Be prepared to wait for hours (we waited 2,5 hours) to get into the Vatican Museums. Then be prepared to 'enjoy' the crowd of visitors who are all moving in the same direction-towards the Sistine Chapel. The wealth is immense, but one gets so tired it is almost impossible to enjoy it by the end of the walk. I must... More

We toured Vatican City with Jimmy who is a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide with an obvious passion for art and it's history. We enjoyed his sense of humor and all of the tidbits of information he shared. The only negative was that there is so much to cover that we did feel slightly rushed (understandably there is quite... My nieces and I booked our Vatican Museum Tour with Rome Empire Tours before we left home. Jimmy was exactly where he said he would be with his yellow umbrella. We had five people in our group from 20 years old to 62. All of us enjoyed Jimmy's tour. He was extremely informative, while at the same time making us... More

This is a visit well worth making. Plan for, at the very least, a full day here. We would advise not following the guided routes if you wish to see the best parts. Be selective and wander around to what you want to see. You will not be dissappointed with most of what you see. The only down side is... More

Magnificent tour of both the museum and the basilica ... would recommend that you use a tour guide to skip the lines and get insights about what you are looking at. Extra money, but well worth it after you see the lines that you would have to wait in. More

Having not been on many tours I wasn't too sure what to expect, however after this experience I will definately be doing more tours around Rome. Our tour guide Jimmy was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the Sistine with some great stories about Michaelangelo that really bought him to life. The explanations of the paintings were very... More
