The spirited, enthusiastic and often humorous dancing and singing of Neapolitan folk songs was a memorable experience.
We came in Saturday night after dinner, just to see the show. We were seated on the ground floor. I did not even notice any upper galleries until I read about them in the TripAdvisor reviews. The show was a rollicking good time and the dancers and singers were much better trained than I had expected from a folkloric troupe.... More
A pleasant evening of music and well known songs from the area. The evening started with drinks on the terrace. Traditional dances, costumes and music followed. I especially liked the mandolin.
My wife and I attended the show on a Friday evening. We were greeted with a choice of welcome drinks on the terrace and we found the sparkling wine very refreshing. We were ushered in to watch the show about 9.15pm. The theatre was nearly full with tourists plus lost of locals, creating a good atmosphere. The show itself was... More
We were recommended this show by friends. We decided to try the dinner show, which turned out to be an excellent decision. From the time we arrived to walking out at around 11pm we were treated to sense sensations. Prosecco on the terrace is followed by a 4 course meal with wine on the gallery above the main seating area.... More
A really good night out. a meal if you wish can be purchased in with the ticket. the show is all in Italian, but does not spoil any of the enjoyment, the performers are keen, and eager to put on a good show and do not disappoint. If you have seen it before, it's worth seeing again.
What a brilliant night we had -you pay 25 euros each for a pre performance drink and then watch a great performance all in italian. There are some outstanding singers and characters who made this a highlight of our visit to Sorrento.
At a dinner theatre show, I don't expect the food to be so great, but this meal was delicious. There were so many courses, too--a champagne reception before the show, aperitifs, appetizers, wine, entree, more wine, dessert, limoncello, coffee...It just kept coming. If you buy the dinner, you sit in the upper tier of the theatre and get serenaded twice... More
I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy the Sorrento Musical, but it was really infectious. All the actors, singers and musicians were very professional and really threw themselves into the show, and although it was really corny and sentimental, everyone - including me - really got caught up in the "story", such as it was. I particularly liked the... More
