The Cathedral itself is not so amazing but the chaples hide great pieces of art like two Goya paintings, an amazing fresco on the vault of the altar and a golden globet which is supposed to be the holy graal.

Set in a lovely square, a visit not to be missed. The atmosphere is wonderful also there are so many places to sit and have a coffee afterwards and perhaps buy souvenirs at the market
An interesting building externally and internally. Audio guide was rather pedestrian and missed out some key information, e.g. about modern artwork included in one of the side chapels. But worth a few euros to view it all.

People walk in (No staff to challenge) Decided not to bother.Later had a meal on the square . Not knowing entered a rear door and discovered we were in the Cathedral. Which was been entered by a mass...

In Valencia for one day only with so many beautiful buildings to see and not enough time to do so properly. We only saw the Cathedral from the outside but it looked that it would have been worth a proper look at if only we had the time.
We spent a day touring the old quarter of Valencia and took in the Cathedral and a number of other local churches. All of them are wonderful and have something special to offer a visitor keen on history. The wonderful architecture of many of the buildings will fascinate you. The overall impression is one of sobriety and peace. This is not one of Spains ornate, gilded Catholic edifices to the glory of past kings and cardinals. It is built of dark stone quarried in the nearby Sierra Calderona and some say from quarries in Denia and the little fishing village of Benidorm, brought up the Turia river by ships...

Beautiful work on exterior and interior. Did not have much time so quickly popped in using the left door which does not require u to buy a ticket as u can stand and admire the inside of the cathedral from a blocked off viewing space. In my opinion not as grand as the French or Italian churches I have been...

This cathedral houses the Chapel of the Holy Grail and is well worth the visit. Whatever your religious belief, you will love entering the Chapel of the Holy Grail the smell of the incense, the ancient stone blackened by years of candle smoke, the lighting, and the focus on the Holy Grail (supposed chalice used by Christ at Last Supper)...
