We visited numerous churches whilst in Madrid, but glad we took the time to walk to this one, the interior took our breath away. You enter into a vast space, with an extremely impressive dome and all the ceilings around the Basilica were very ornate.
round base church, huge. Just by the rastro. Good to visit in the way from the Palacio Real to the Rastro. Impressive.
