Mass is usually held at 12 noon in the Cathedral it is a must-see. Get there about 11.30 It will be packed.

at this immense religious mecca, the botafumeiro (large insense burner) is swung through the apse of the entire length of the cathedral at the pilgrims mass most days at 1130 am...not to be missed! Beautiful city and a must see!

if you have done all or part of the camino the pilgrim mass is must even if your not of the faith,atmosphere is great with over two hundred in the church and if your lucky they will swing the censor

Beautiful crowded cathedral. Try to see a mass with the swinging incense. That was very interesting. See Saint James' casket.

We attended the pilgrims mass and got to see the giant sensor in use.....plus you want to take the tour of the inside of the cathedral as you get access to places not open to general public

The Cathedral is huge and imposing. Most of all it is the world's third most important shrine for Catholics after Israel and Rome. Definitely a don't miss!

Nothing to dislike..Try to attend a Mass where the thurible (Incense Container) is swung from the ceiling. So very impressibve
