We loved staying in the Masai Village hut it was such a great experience to be allowed to wander around in certain parts when the park was closed and see the shyer animals like the Red Pandas come out to play a a very different experience in the morning we went off for a four hour River Ride on horse... As a family we booked our tickets prior and got a good deal on a Selwo pack through our hotel otherwise the cost would have been too expensive. The layout of the park is set out like a safari and there are lots of large animals to see. The demonstrations are not in english so loses something in translation. The... More

I have just returned from my visit to Selwo and am torn between two opinions. My children enjoyed themselves and so did I. I thought the park was very clean and well kept, and the animals looked healthy. The weather was lovely and it was a nice outdoor activity for the children. Unfortunately what ruined my visit was the cost.... More

A complete rip off. Very expensive. And nothong more than a very ordinary zoo.No facilities whatsoever., if you are expecting safari you'll be very disappointed. My advice - save yourself the money and the trip..

I went to Selwo with my daughter and family yesterday and was very disappointed. Having been there some years ago when it was excellent I can´t believe the difference now. They have halved the size of the park and it cannot be termed a safari park at all. It is more like a zoo with a limited selection of animals... More

Over the years I have been to the park about 6 times, most years with young family, one of the great things was the size and ability to walk around the park and over the rope bridges in the top section. We went today only to find out the park has reduced in size, but the price has increased. Very... More

We recently visited Selwo Aventura while staying in Costa del Sol. Being from the USA and having visited many modern zoos and animal parks, I would say this place is very old school when it comes to habitat and comfort of it's animals. The cost of admission is actually more than the Philadelphia zoo, which has three times the number... More

I have been to this attraction about 5 times over the years and it is a good day out. However, over the years they have put the prices up again and again. First they charged you €3 to park at the attraction (no alternative) This year they have reduced the size of the park considerably but still put the prices... More
