This place will help you see what life was like for moors on a smaller scale than you'll see in the palaces. It was really quite when we went. Just before the closing time which was about 7pm. There are great things to see inside. One fascinating thing is the paper making room where you can see how paper was... More

Quaint little 'museum' shedding light on Cordoba's forgotten past. From books to trinkets, spend an hour (or three) visiting the rooms and reading books at your leasure. Strongly recommended. Great place for taking pictures as well.

Not fabulous, but a pleasant little interlude during a stroll round the Juderia. It won't take long - well under half an hour - and will be cramped if there are a lot of visitors as it is barely larger than your average semi in the suburbs. Lots of interesting details, although I would have liked more explanations about the... More

Small, but packed with many interesting artifacts. Lots of charming nooks for great photo ops. The day we visited it was not crowded, with perhaps only two other couples visiting. The paper making display was especially interesting. Small gift shop with limited inventory on the premises. We paid an admission fee of 2.50 euros in February 2013.

This small house could be easily missed as you walk up the lane from the synagogue. Lovingly restored to reflect a typical andalus house it is quaint and informative. The small rooms and courtyards hold information and a sense of tranquillity. As a loophole I was interested in the display of how paper was made and books written. In the... More

Its easy to miss this house but once you step in it seems like a step back in time. It is a small space but truly gives you a feel of an well preserved if not still in use Andalusian home. The courtyard is lovely and do wander around to find interesting nooks.

I really enjoyed visiting this little "museum". I think it achieved what I guess it set out to do - that is to recreate a typical Andalucian house. All very quaint but informative. The lower ground floors and well were an eye-opener. So much to see in such a "little" space. It didn't take very long but was worth it.... More

This old house with roman cellars is hidden away in the Jewish quarter but is worth hunting out. It is not grand but it is rather charming - an old house with courtyards and small rooms full of treasures, and a crumbling cellar of roman remains.
