To get to see a brilliant panorama from so high a deck is a must, I guess. It is affordable in terms of money. Up there you can pay a euro and get a small coin (that you have provide yourself) flattened out with a new impress of the Old City or the Rheiturm itself. My daughter wanted 3 of... More

It only cost €4 and took less that one minute to reach the top. The view is impressive, with views of many of cities and towns nearby. The tower is situated in a rather bleak area, between the main police station and the river. There is a tram station very close and its a pleasant walk along the river to... More

The tower is situated on the river and has 360 views over the surrounding area. It is only 4EUR to go up although I would avoid buying anything in the bar at the top (3,20EUR for a bottle of water!). The views are amazing and you can see for miles. It is really interesting to see the mix of architecture... More

It is a great place to see Dusseldorf from top, all the famous buildings and New Harbor is just under your feet! Although staff is not very helpful and friendly and seems that cafeteria was not working, but you will have great views and excellent pictures. Also walk by the Rhain river from Altstadt is very nice!

Both levels of the tower are open (April, 2013) and so for only 4 Euro I was able to go up to the observation deck (bar and cake available). The view is delightful, the pace easy, and it wasn't too crowded. A perfect way to "top off" a visit to Dusseldorf. : )

Went up to panorama level at 168m and had great views of Dusseldorf, the Rhine and surrounding cities. Four euros for an adult ticket. Can sit and buy drinks from the bar there. Would recommend.

Finally got up the tower after 2 days of trying. Viewing tower was closed, refurbishment we think, so only way to have this experience is to pay for afternoon tea at 12.50 euro each with no concessions at all or go for lunch or dinner which is much more expenise. Open for afternoon tea from 2.30. It is really worth... More

Our first trip to dussseldorf and staying nearby at the Hyatt hotel. We came first during a snowy day in march and was turned away as it was closed. It would have been smart to have a sign at the entrance. The next day we paid 4euro each to end up at the entrance of a revolving restaurant. We were... More

As you've probably read in the other reviews, the views of the city are fantastic. The reason I'm only giving three stars is this: they no longer allow you to go only to the observation deck. I'm not absolutely certain if this is a permanent change, but at least currently, you must go to the restaurant, where your 12,50€ entrance... More

Took my Mum to the restaurant at the top of rheintower. You do have to book, it is not cheap. But it rotates around slowly, food was lovely & very nice for celebration
