We went to see FC Köln's last home match of the 2012-13 season. The atmosphere was great, although I surprised to hear the club song is sung to the tune of 'The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond'. We sat at the back of the main stand in line with the half-way line. Its very high up and there were no... More

Came here last autumn to watch a Coldplay concert just a few days before they played at the opening ceremony of the Paralympics. The atmosphere was tremendous and the seats to the side of the stage were comfortable enough with good visibility. The tram ride up to the stadium from the city centre is slow but functional enough. You reach... More

It does not matter in which division Cologne finds itself, you should not miss a home game in this fabulous stadium where 42000 spectators support their club with enthusiastic regularity

It's a football stadium, in the middle of a park. That's it really. Good enough if you're going to a football match - with the added attraction of being allowed to stand in their "standing area". But if you're not into football, and there is no match on, don't bother.

Unfortunately could not get tour of stadium as only available at weekends and if pre booked but managed to view 2 stands through a gate. However FC KOLN club shop selling a wide range of merchandise was open and is well worth a visit for any football fan.Stadium is on outskirts of city but s-bahn tram stops directly outside,we travelled direct... The stadium was ok, beer staff were extremely rude and unhelpful as were the security staff. However Bruce was totally brilliant.

I flew from the USA to see Springsteen here. They published a diagram showing two sections of floor tickets; "Stehplatz, front of stage" and "Inneraum, Stehplatz". Front of stage is right up against the stage and covers perhaps the first 15% of the floor. Inneraum is behind it and clearly separated from it. This front of stage is much more... More

I've only been 2 times to the stadium, each time there was a lack of atmosphere and a crush near the ground. While the fans were pleasant on the whole, there seemed to be a general problem with police than belied the small number who were there. The only positive point is that there is good food available in the... More

Friendly and funny people there at the stadium. Great audience, and good Kölsch. Very good atmosphere, not only before the game when all the people are singing and waving with their scarf.

the atmosphere before the game was fantastic with the fans all singing the club anthem.getting away after the game was not ideal as there is only one tram line back to the city and unusually for germany it was a free for all to get on. not well organised!
