We couldn't go up the dome of the French church when we were there but would have liked to as this is a lovely square. Good selection of restaurants there too

This is a beautiful square, which will probably be extremely busy in the summer due to it's historical and architectual significance. With two twin churches on either side of the square makes it a must to see!

Very interesting and beautiful architecture. It's a big square that visitors can hang out. Right in front of the square you can find the city sightseeing bus stop, which is very convenient for tourists who want to explore the city by bus

Don't miss out on a lovely little lunch or cocktail in the square and the climb to the top of the French Cathedral is only 3 euros and worth the view.

This is a very attractive area of Berlin. It is quite a quiet and peaceful area with lots of places to eat.

All three of the major buildings are a joy with a high square in between well worth a visit and if you manage to find someone to tell you the history of this bit of France in Berlin listen to it - or better still do your homework before you go.

This fine area of magnificent buildings was very quiet when I visited one morning which enhances the grandeur of the architecture.

Gendarmenmarkt is a nice quiet part of the town with lots of cafes and restaurants. A good place to pass some quieter moments
