This is a fun museum. It has planes, trains, subs, cars, helicopters etc... We spent the afternoon here and really enjoyed it.

I visited the Deutsches Museum on my last day in Munich which didn’t give me enough time to see everything, so I want to back to see the rest with my Dad. I think you need 2 days for this Museum. When I showed my photos to guys at work they just went nuts over all the planes! I loved...

Took a party of 18 students, spent almost all day visiting. Most information is in English so no problems explaining everything. favourite was the electricity demonstration, but only in German and sight restricted, if you have kids get there 15min before showtime and get to the front of the fencing. Oh my goodness, this museum is filled with great treasures! There is something inside for everyone. But if you visit wear comfortable shoes if you want to see the whole museam, its really big and can keep you busy a whole day!
I visited as a newly Wed. I visited with your young children. And I visited with our grandchildren. Each time I have been amazed and delighted by what I learned and how enchanted young children can be with Chemistry, computers, and so much more.
Interesting museum with lots of interactive exhibits. In the courtyard you can see a Reich eagle still on the wall of the bibliotek

Only Germans can present exhibits with such passion, meticulousness, accuracy and an eye for details. Visitor friendly, educational, large, rich and and adjectives alike should be used to describe it! Check the department of history of IT for instance. Amazing! Do not miss a walk in the park that's near it! Loved it!
Only had a couple of hours there and just saw a small potion of it. Supposedly the largest technical museum in Europe-a small Smithsonian. Well worth a visit.
one day is definitely not enough to see it all... it's very very interesting, I'd love to repeat this trip, can't even remember half of the things there, it was 2009 :)
