What a lovely park. The day we arrived there was an outdoor concert. During our stay we took a horsedrawn carriage ride along Allee. The lovely old villas on the riverbanks are a sight to see.

The first time we strolled down the Allee was in heavy rain. The River Oos was in furious spate. I have never seen a river go so fast. Stroll...people watch...just take it all in. Make sure that you walk the entire length. The dahlia garden is amazing.

My experience walking up and down the Lichtentaler Allee couldn't be better. It is not only that you enjoy the sight of beautiful mansions, trees, flowers..; it is also the sound of the silence only broken by the water flowing on the river. A picture wouldn't be enough to capture all the magic of this wonderful promenade

It's just a nice short walk along a small river. Nothing spectacular except it's beautiful along the way. Beautiful flowers & trees in different colors, nice bridges and nice buildings on the other side of the river.

A lovely, pretty peaceful walk though the town. Highly recommend it. Tulips were in season when we visited in May.

It was nice to ride a bike along the alley. You can rent a bike from a private owner 2 steps away from the Holiday Inn Express.

Lovely to wander along the path any time of day, admire the brickwork IN the river, and good track for a morning run.
