This museum is housed in the former nazi head quarters, and the place where hundreds of thousands of Jews were gathered to be sent to their death during w.w.2. we had high hopes for visiting this museum as we had found other WW2 museums in berlin very interesting. this one however was a disappointment. quite a small place which had alot of info boards down dark corridors was about it! it was like they had put pages from a book on the walls. we both found it dull. I do agree that some of the documents displayed at mid-thigh level are difficult to read. Some are also poorly light, but the low lighting is all part of the effect. A well-presented, sombre, factual account of a very troubling time in our history. We're English speakers so we got the English audio guides. If you don't speak/read French, you miss about 50% of the information. This museum does an excellent job on this topic. More
